Starting in the 2009/2010 season, we will be using Teamer to help us communicate team selection, match details and manage responses. Teamer will help reduce the captains' pain of contacting the team about selection by allowing them to select players for a fixture online and have the website send the text messages and emails. All the player has to do is let the captain know that they're available by responding to the text message or going online to mark themselves as available.

The Strathallen Hotel in Edgbaston once again played host to the 2009 Bournville Club Dinner and Awards Evening. With the organisation of the event falling into the hands of the ever-capable Andrew Wilson, the evening certainly lived up to expectations with Carl Colvin (pictured) being presented with the Player of the Year Award.
